Military solution has failed too. It is at best a stopgap arrangement, not a long-term solution. Drones have exacerbated the problem >>> more militant recruits >>> more violence and so on. Violence breeds Violence. just like in Syria (it is also stuck in a seemingly never ending mess)
One can just hope that terrorist attacks will subside (if not stop completely) once the Americans have left (and that’s a big IF) Afghanistan in 2014
