I understand the msg they are trying to deliver but few things are wrong here. First of all, they hv to pick different areas of manhattan. The pocket they’ve picked without hijab is easily be called one full of ghettos (possibly downtown or way uptown). So what else you expect? You’ll be kidding yrself if nobody hits on you.
Secondly, in those areas with majority African American, people know hijab vey well. A lot of them are muslims themselves. There is a lot of respect. I’d be surprised if anyone hits on them then.
I really dont think they spent “10 hours”
And btw you should appreciate NYers for respecting hijasb

Honestly…NYC has people from ALL walks of life. NYC has one of the biggest population of Hasidic jews, and their women are covered head to toe. NYC has a huge population of Muslims, of all ethnicities. 1 million people alone in Manhattan, from all walks of life, all religions. And let’s not forget, this video is probably edited to prove their own hypothesis. Then again, what do you expect from a channel that calls itself “Are We Famous Yet”

Good. That’s what I wanted to hear. I did not want to derive you anywhere.
That means, that saying it was something just related to African Americans on their neighborhood was incorrect. Both the harassment and respect can be from any race.
FYI: Some comments on Youtube suggested that and they posted hateful comments for them.
