Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
it looks like staged:
-when a woman walks with camera and ‘some security’ [in plain clothes], no man will dare to tease her. they KNOW that she has security men around her.
-it’s not possible for men not to follow her or stare at her and turning their head to follow her moves
-how can she walk 10 hours in those sandals
-she hardly changes her posture
-why did she have to wear provocative clothes if she wanted to test people
-you should never carry your purse the way she is carrying…it will be an open invitation for muggers to victimize her.
-i didn’t watch the whole video…it’s unbearable.
just my 2 cents.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
What silence? Didn’t anyone hear the incessant honking?
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
in India, you hear honking 1000 times in a minute…thay can’t drive without honking…it’s their way of life!
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
Honkings win hearts in India. ![]()
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
I will be the first person to say harassment is just terrible in south Asian counties but people can surprise you.
This month I went to super crowded places in lahore. Not one person passed a comment or even looked. Every one was so busy doing their own thing. I only got honked because people had important places to be and I was blocking the road. I was mega pleasantly surprised because even going to the bank can be a stare fest.
My conclusion was that the busier the place the less amount of people just standing around doing nothing so they don’t have the time or inclination to harass anyone. Paisa is more important than annoying a random chick.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
Either that or they looked at you and decided to look busy for the Stormtrooper; nobody wants to mess with Darth Vader et al.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
10 mins standing at Indian Railway station as a woman…
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
Wow..
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
It’s clear there is foreign hand behind this
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
rolls eyes
must be nice to not be harassed every time you go out the door.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
Silly indians. In Pak you only honk if its really really necessary, otherwise you try not to.

Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
10 hours walking bombay footpaths, and no stepping on poo? fake.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
First thing, why the hell do Indians copy every western attempt or movie/documentary etc. Second in a country which is setting world records in things like rape etc, I dont buy that she wouldnt be hit on or not harassed unless there are indications that there is someone with her. So I’ll say nice try, come again
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
well the rape crisis is more of a cow-belt issue. bombay is very different and relatively safe, and people arent that sensitive to women’s clothing ideas. no one cares.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
I have walked 10 min without stepping on poo.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
In Kerala and Tamil Nadu poo smells.good.
Why New York hates Indians?
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
Omg, I misread the title as beating off.
Re: “10 hours walking in Mumbai as a woman”
So are cows inducing rape?
