I have no real problem in accepting this or rejecting this ... But what would be good before I do either is to establish the authenticy and actual references of this talk and who else out of the ulema of antiquity believed such things.

I have listened to this lecture very briefly. My personal view is that Jaza/saza, jannat/dozakh are for rational beings who can make choices. I don't know what will happen to animals or other beings that have set patterns of life. Allah knows best.

AsSalaamo Alaikum,

I have only heard that which kchughtai said, and that is that on the day of Judgement we will be held accountable for our action with either reward or punishment, and after the animals have had their accounts (the hadith about a ram which harmed another ram without horns, will taste its punishments at the hands of the oppressed ram), after which they will be turned in to dust, and that the criminals on that day will wish they could be dust.

Beyond that, Allahu Alam.

Well it will be an embarrassing stage if donkey goes into heaven and we as ‘Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqat’ not. That what I liked most.

Rest agreed will look into authenticity and last but not least “Almighty Allah knows best”.

There are established beliefs about children who died before puberty will be in Jannah and mentally ill people and others who are unaccountable, albeit with different qualities to those who were fully Aqil and Baligh. I do not find it too hard to accept animals going to heaven on similar grounds as those humans.
