You never answered my question in that little rant of yours? If eating pork is enough to make you question the faith of someone who otherwise claims to be Muslim as you clearly state below:
If you cannot even do that, then there is a question as to whether you are actually a Muslim.
What about people who don't pray regularly (I'm certain you know plenty of them)...are you this judgemental of their faith too?
dont recall seeing too many things labelled as makrooh in quran. I mean whats the deal with makrooh, its either allowed or its not...there is one answer. and no matter how much we want to hide in teh familar comfort of makrooh proclamations, it is allowed...period.
Dont you have anything better to do? YES I have answered your questions. I think you need to learn how to read. I never said that I QUESTION the faith of someone who eats pork or commits other sins - I said that people need to QUESTION THEMSELVES - MARK THE WORD 'THEMSELVES'. I have said the word 'THEMSELVES' quite a few times and MY SENTENCE THAT YOU QUOTE doesnt have the word 'I' in it to mean I am asking a question. The sentance states 'THEN THERE IS A QUESTION'... I am not referring to who is asking the 'QUESTION' - I said generally there is a question. I really dont have the time or energy to educate someone who is not literate enough to read properly - or someone who can read, but not understand what is being said in the text. No wonder you dont have a solid interpretation of what identifies a person who is a Muslim. If you cannot even read my sentences and interpret them correctly and understand them correctly, then how can you understand any Islamic texts or anything similar to it? I am sorry, i dont have the energy, want or need to converse with anyone like you.
If you look back to my previous post, you will see that i do talk about people who/dont pray. Period.
JANAB: You said "You never answered my question in that little rant of yours?" - Just to let you know, this is a comment you made. Comments dont end with question marks.

Whatever. The judgment is clearly implied in that statement (it's called 'critical analysis'...I guess they haven't taught you about that yet at your university)...though it's nice to see you trying so hard to distance yourself from it now through furious little rants IN ALL CAPS.
As for pointing out typos...get over yourself. I can see plenty in your previous post...some of us just aren't petty enough to sit around pointing them out. But if that's what it takes to make you feel better about yourself, go right ahead.
I told someone that if they drink alcohol or sleep around or eat haram meat, or kill someone, it does NOT make them a non-muslim, unless they renounce their faith specifically…
Then I read the following, which certainly made me think… food for thought (excuse the pun)
***Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 8.800B, Narrated Ikrima from Ibn Abbas ***
Allah’s apostle said,
“When a slave (of Allah) commits illegal sexual intercourse, he is not a believer at the time of committing it; and if he steals, he is not a believer at the time of stealing; and if he drinks an alcoholic drink, when he is not a believer at the time of drinking it; and he is not a believer when he commits a murder.”
'Ikrima said: I asked Ibn Abbas, “How is faith taken away from him?” He said, Like this," by clasping his hands and then separating them, and added, “But if he repents, faith returns to him like this,” by clasping his hands again.
What? All i did was LAUGH? Getting all defensive, eh? I am sure there are many more hadiths that suport what I am saying, but to be honest I cannot be bothered to dig them up. Do that yourself. Thanks.
