I usually check out the birthday list everyday and have observed that there are soooooo many users who have just registered and NEVER used their profiles. I wanted to ask why no housekeeping is ever done here.

I understand that you think they might one day come back, but it just doesnt make sense…:frowning:

My question is why is no housekeeping done on GS. I guess, this site(group) is hosted on some server. If the accounts are not deleted, then are they not using up the memory space of the server?

Thats all, hope you do take this into consideration. Its your site and your wish.

If you guys are busy to do it, then I am ready to help. We have what 59k+ users i think, so i can understand that managing is difficult…but still, its just waste of space. And the user names as well, some which are taken cannot be used…the possibility/probability is minimal…yet..:smiley:

Yohoo…we are going for the 60k mark pretty soon..then 70, then 80..90..then…ohhhhhhhhhh:)

Adeeba has a good point that she raised. I am not too concerned about memory space (although that adds up), but the fact that no-one else can use that nick then..

will seriously consider it adeeba. Thanks
