1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

Height: 5 feet 2 inches
weight: now 140 :frowning:
Work: fulltime

Me Before: 115-120

Hi All,

Thought I would start by posting here, 3 years ago I was happy at 120, in fact last year i shrunk down to 105,i had alot going on in my life (most of it didn’t end for the better) so apart from depression i gained 20 lbs.I went from a size 4/6 to 10 overnight it seems like it. I have this work event coming up in a month and i am determined to loose the weight. I have to drop it, tomorrow I begin this strict diet plan, I started to think about what I did three years ago that I felt so great and lost a ton of weight and realized it was diet, and exercise, I would run 1 mile to a mile and half every day. At that time I was juggling school, work and trying to find another job.

Now I am juggling trying to take a graduate admission test and work. I hope to get some support and encouragement from everyone.

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

You can certainly do it, 20-25 lbs is nothing really. You already know the basic concept important for weight loss (diet and exercise), now all you need to do is stick with it for a while. Good luck. :)

@ Sajalina](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/members/sajalina.html) so do you think it can be done??

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

Not in a month. :)

BUT...... you should start seeing results by the end of first month (given that you eat right and exercise) and hopefully that'll be good enough to put you in high spirits. From there on try to stay on track and I am sure in 3-4 months you'll be able to reach your goal.

i have a same story like you only few months ago my weight was 132lb after joining a fulltime job i am 147lb now :(
i dont want to follow a strict diet but i'll try to concentrate more on excercise

You need a little more at breakfast otherwis you'll be tired and will not be able to work out.

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

I agree with Niks, you are not eating enough/right. :(

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

My doctor;s advice - regard exercise/diet regimen not as something intense. Approach it as water waves beat on a rock - slow, steady, consistent, methodical. This approach should allow you to sustain it for a long time. And if you falter, dont worry about it and get back to business

Good luck!

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

past couple of days fell off the horse... tonight i have a date with the treadmill.

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

I agree with him to control his diet and loss the weight .i think break fast should be heavy ,lunch and dinner is light and you should control the weight.morning walk good for health.

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

Replace breakfast eggs with albumen (egg-white only), discarding the yolk.

Drink green tea with the heavier meal instead (i.e. dinner).

Depending on your stamina, the best exercise would be swimming with breast-strokes (complimenting your running).

Re: 1 month to drop 20-25 lbs

ok realistically this is not happening in a month, maybe two...
yesterday i went for a run.. i had a salad for lunch and an orange for breakfast after my run i wasn't hungry so for dinner i ate watermelon!
