Hi i had to make this post because i havent seen anyone mentioning affordable bridals in this forum that are around 1 lakh. The minimum i have seen is 2 lakh. I will never be able to justify paying over £1000 (i knw 1 lakh is less then that) for my bridal dress. So can anyone please tell me of any designer that will make a bridal dress for this much? No replicas please. I know i could get a good affordable dress in pakistan but i wont be able to travel there no matter how much i would like to. Thank you for your help

I know someone who does really nice bridals and are affordable too. I know for sure that my cousin's shaadi jora that she got made from her was around 150k. Maybe you can tweak the kaam and all and she might just be able to work something out. Shes based in Lahore but our family orders stuff from her all the time and the shipping has always been on time. Let me know if you're interested and ill DM you the details.
You could also as a second option buy a heavy formal from some low key designer with a really heavy shirt and get a light dupata made with it
Re: 1 Lakh bridals
Check out Makkah Bridal at Tariq Rd, Karachi. They have a facebook page as well so you can get a fair idea of their work. You will need to negotiate their prices. They have skype as well however, if you can get someone in Karachi to give them a visit in person and tell them to have it ready on time. That is what I did, can't trust the boutiques and designers with important events lol
Re: 1 Lakh bridals
Thank you to both of you i will DM
Re: 1 Lakh bridals
No problem!
And your budget isn't too bad. Get in touch with the nicer boutiques, not the designers. They have amazing stuff, very good quality stuff within your price range (plus a little negotiation). Try Jabeens, Shakeelz couture (also on facebook). The longer shirts are in style, so you will have NO problem finding a super heavy shirt with a super heavy dupatta and chooridars. If you negotiate well, you can get a gharara/sharara too. I am not aware how much they have increased their prices since my wedding :P
