BHUBANESWAR: Hindus attacked at least 14 churches in eastern India, leaving one man dead and 30 injured on Tuesday, police said.
Protesters backed by the World Hindu Council set fire to six churches and ransacked another four in Orissa state, police officer Narsingh Bol said.
The authorities imposed a curfew on four towns in Kandhamal district but fresh trouble broke out on Wednesday when two more churches were set alight and a police station and a local government office were attacked, AFP cited state police chief Gopal Nanda as saying. Some 500 policemen were deployed to restore peace, Reuters added.

I am tired of Hindu fundamentalist justifying all the brutal acts as retaliation of some other action. Sad part is that educated well-to-do professional kinds also fall for this trap. I thought education will enable people to see through fallacy of these arguments.

I know it is pretty strong statement but look around and you will see how these funding happens. It is pretty easy to spread hatred with your money and moral support specially if your life is not directly affected by it. By the way it is true for both sides. Kuch Zyada Kuch Kam...
There's such a big difference in the thinking of an Indian muslim and a Pakistani muslim and I thank Allah for that.

All the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent are loyal to pakistan. Pakistani Muslims are Indian Muslims in regions where they were a majority or held political power so they seceded and formed their own state because muslims are a seperate nation from hindus, sikhs, buddhists etc. That is why kashmir wants to seperate from hindustan. That is why the masses of indian muslims, over 90%, voted for pakistan and supported Jinnah and the two nation theory, probably even your grandparents. Indian muslims differ from pakistani muslims in that they are not free to express their feelings while pakistani muslims are like lions of the faith!
