First of all, you have just showed how ignorant you are by saying the above. Secondly, I do not live in muslim community. I have not encountered even one Christian, Jew, or Athiest who has problem with me or what i follow. Infact, due to what I am, what i follow (Islam), and what I believe - the people around me (i.e. Christian, Jew, or Athiest) have come to better understand Islam. Most of these friends of mine are eager to learn and expand their knowledge regarding the Message conveyed by the Prophets Musa, Isa, Mohammad, and others who went before them (PBU Them). These friends of mine, since meeting me, have become better beings (as stated by them, and noticed by me, their parents, and friends).

Before Judging anything, it is wise to know about it.

Wow, you must be doing some hard working there to change people to better human beings. What is a better human being? wearing Arab clothes with long beard and carrying beads string? how do you live in a non muslim community?
do you pray 5 times in mosque, what do you do for living? how can you say you are a beter human being compare to people you live among.

- Where does it say, that i have to wear Arab (Traditional) dress to have a positive influence on others and have a beard...also I do not need to carry around beads string to remember what the Prophets have conveyed.

I never said I am better than the people amoung whom I live, 'but if you hear people around you praising for who you are, then i think that is enough - then you do not need to ask them for a certificate to prove to other people around the world of your accomplishments'

I know some people in my area who are well liked by evrybody and actually they are very decent people but they are not muslims, what do you think of them. what about Mother Tressa who spent her whole life helping poor? will she go to Hell cos she wasn't muslim?

Common sense says conspirators are few not whole tribe child women men.. moreover why would anyone follows someone whose tolerance level si so low that he orderes mass butchering on mere suspicion of conspiracy.. world has example of people like jesus who sacrificed his life instead of going on killing rampage....... so why would a compassionate person not choose the example of jesus and why follow someone with preference for sucha violence act.........

According to cannonical muslim beliefs, it was conspiracy, and it was not the Prophet who ordered the execution. What is your hope? That you repeat a lie oft enough it will become truth?

He had to remain low key. If he said peep about the Romans, his followers would have been crushed in a matter of minutes.

By the same token, if we follow the example of Jesus, we wouldn't be talking about other peoples religions..now would we? Since when are Christians beholdedn to Jesus' actions?

Note that Jesus never once criticised the Romans for their imperalism.

Your friends are eagour to understand Islam because they wana know more of there enemy. Thats what prompts them. U better understand that.

Even Im in this forum to know more about the way muslims thinks of themselves & others. I wana know what motivates the terrorists.

There are surely good people in Islam & many of your customs are respectable.
But muslim terrorists killing innocent people outshadows all your goodness..

If you consider urself as a better being shouldnt you be working against those evils??

It's amazing how myths become facts to the simple minded....

Muslims have killed and continue to kill more Muslims than the US ever has.

Just as freedom of expression and democracy are foreign concepts to those who live in oppressive societies, so must be the concept of intentionally targeting civilians vs the unintentional. Perhaps this thread title explains the difference.

Seminole, if it were Americans dying you would not at all make that distinction.

If OBL said that his primary target were the WTC in hopes of damaging the economy, and that the dead were merely collateral damage...I doubt the American reaction would be any different.

It's a cynical argument that's used to justify murder. Now if you convolute it with the concepts of freedom and democracy, then I'm afraid you're just going to taint them as being meaningless through the duplicities in which they're applied.
