They will always look better on the model. They have professional photographers who know how to use their cameras and do good lighting. Not to mention all the photo touch ups they do before the photo gets printed in the look book. I still think the dress itself the way it is done in the photo is very elegant looking even on the mannequin. When I purchased it originally, I didn't know that it didn't come with any of the embroidery or fancy work. The shirt is VERY plain without it.

No, its just very very very plain.

the lace isn't cheap looking...but I didn't know that the kameez doesn't come with the embroidered gala so like someone else said..it looks plain. Plus the color is different, the one I have is a light celery green...and I had wanted yellow...

i think such is the case with most lawns this year. they look very different than the pics. what we see in the pics is the result of excellent lighting, prof photography and lots and lots of extras(laces, emb etc) on the jora that dont come with the actual suit.

I've got the suit belle has posted in the blue option, my mum has got back from pak and I've got the kamiz from her as it was in her hand baggage but the shalwaar and scarf are in her suitcase. The shirt is lovely, its not thin lawn and the embroidered gulla is really nice too.

I’m curious, did they use the dupatta fabric for the sleeves in this one or did they give separate fabric for the sleeves?

They have used the dupatta fabric but you can same similar done with screen printing :) Just for an idea

hope d tailior applique the neckline and the embroidery on d back very veeeery neat..i dnt wnt that u can see any net on the suit :)
