Re: Zubaida Tariq's Tips!

i tried the yougurt tip and i did see a bit of difference in my skin

Re: Zubaida Tariq's Tips!

Another great tip for skin:
Mix besan + yogurt + brown sugar and apply to face, hands and anywhere on body. Brown sugar is very rich in glycolic acid and the mixture applied is very helpful for smooth and radiant skin. It also helps get rid of excess hair if applied to kids' face, arms etc. Besan + yogurt is usually applied to babies' skin to make the skin fairer and smoother.

Re: Zubaida Tariq's Tips!

I heard of besan and yohurt and haldi. Brown sugar bit sounds interesting. We use jut normal brown sugar or is called demerrara or something like that ...not jaggery right?

Re: Zubaida Tariq's Tips!

Apply a mixture of rose petals and fresh cream and rub it on u're lips. Glycerine and lemon juice will also help regain the color of u're lips.

Re: Zubaida Tariq's Tips!

There is a book by her called Zubeida Tariq ka Kitchen....it has really awesome recipes...and it has really good tips at the bottom of each page...My mom has it and Ill definitely get it, this time I go to pakistan...

From Zubaida Tariq’s Kitchen

This isn’t exactly beauty related.. but one of her tips that always works for me is putting oil on burned skin. Anytime I burn myself in the kitchen (or with the curling iron!), I go straight for the cooking oil and rub a little drop on the burn. It prevents blisters or scars.. and the pain goes away in a few minutes too.

gina- like cream as in milk cream?

^ Yes PF, fresh milk cream.

Bebo, do you end up with scars still with the cooking oil?

Thanks for those great tips! :)

thanks gina! so do you soak the rose petals in for a while?

Re: Zubaida Tariq's Tips!

yogurt + vinegar = excellent!
tried it last night ... definitely instant result ...
