yeah the questions were really pointless:

what do you think about saris
what do you think about sneakers

HUH?? at least phrase them appropriately - like do you prefer to wear sneakers or tennis shoes or do you prefer to see women in saris or shalwar qameez if you are going to ask random stupid questions.

I am personally a little apprehensive about this drama -
- the story that I tried to read was utterly boring. I hope Umera has done something to re-write it and make it more interesting
- Sanam Saeed's Urdu diction is not that great and she is supposed to be playing someone from a lower middle class family.

^^ errr.. let’s see may be another project .. or “one man show” (for Fawad) as he carries all the burden for Kuch pyar ka pagal pan be tha.. but overall its Umera’s creation so hopefully won’t be that annoying… depending on the director (d’oh)

honestly im just looking forward to it because fawad nd sanam are in it and also the fact that its a story by umera ahmed attracts too, never heard about the novel itself lol

anyone have an english translation of this novel or any urdu novel??
it sucks for us non urdu readers that we cant read em cause there not translated into english =(

i am lookin fwd to this drama cause fawad and SS look great together =)
and i agree SS has urdu issues which i serously dont get why these actors have urdu speaking issues bcause they grew up in pakistan, wth is missing but her urdu in mera naseeb was pretty good
i grew up in usa and i think my urdu is pretty da3n good.....

Maat was based on a 10 page short story. According to what i have read it was Aimans first person account. The drama was 25 episodes. Umera Ahmed is a good story teller so i have lots of expectations for this drama. Does anybody knoe which drama it will replace in May?

I am pretty sure they will dramatize it if mata e jan hai tou has a decent amount of success and appeal. I think Farhat Ishtiaq will chose to write the script herself. I am almost certain that she will do that if she has not already started.
