Zindagi Gulzar Hai

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

^ I agree!

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

I know I tried to like her but I can't. I don't know but for me standing up for yourself / being quicky witted is one thing but she comes across as being a bit garoor. Then there's the winning but I do understand why she is like that. If nothing positive has happened to her it is hard for her to take things in a good light. I just think she should be more grateful for getting into uni given the circumstances. Fair enough she doesn't like the people there but she can just concentrate on her studies , ignore them and make friends with people shes likes. that's what someone would do in real life.

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

^^^^ tht was jst a character … not real life … :chai:

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

^That said, i know ppl of extremely wealthy backgrounds attending Indus & still feel out of place. It does affect the person when they feel isolated from an entire society. I love her character.
So tired of the patient masum desi girls portrayed in dramas.

I often say , "Q batul khala q?" :p

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

i dont like kashaf murtaza the character. being and having negative thought about everything is different but she is batameez. i dont think in real life any girl wud talk to a guy first time and start lecturing him :nahi:

too much over rated character

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

I liked third epi, the thing I am wondering is how zaroon shown all spoiled n batameez in uni but in home he is very caring son n brother she understands family value. N how is father n he is different from his mother n sister.

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

yup weird!!!!!!!

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

so there r two independent women, one is zaroons mom who does not want an interference in her life by her husband, go to conferences without consulting her husband, allowed her daughter to go out at midnight supposedly with guys and all these characteristics r painted as negative traits of a women (exaggerated or not thats another question). Second one is kashafs mother, who is also working in her own limits never want to betray her husband but husband turned out to be an idiot but she is hardworking, faithful, tightly follow the morals of the society but in a way assert herself through choosing and deciding about future of her daughters lives, her traits are positively portrayed because she believes in the supremacy of her husband and yet trying to be independent. The contrast in their characters can also be drawn as zaroons mom challenging the societal norms and kashaf`s mom only following the conventional norms but of course the writer never like a Women to challenge the societal norms and therefore painted as evil.

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

Well i know quite a few girls who wold have no such problem :halo:

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

random, but osama is so cute lol feel sorry for him already... hope they got someone for him too hah!

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

:hehe:

he’s my favorite character so far!

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

thay hav changed the entire story in thez 3 episodes...ye sab kuch novel men bilkulb nhi tha....aur zaroon aur kashaf ka first interaction class men hota hy during a lecture ..not like this introducing so stupidly...BAKWAS !

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

I don't like the girl playing Kashaf's character to begin with because I think she comes off as a stuck up personality by nature even tho she probably isn't since I don't even know her but I think its translating into her character a bit too much. For now I don't know where this drama is going it seems a bit patchy. But anything to see Fawad Khan on Screen :P

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

love kashaf's character.....and sanam fits in really well.....she was awesome in "mera naseeb" too
i cant even imagine any other actress instead of her for this particular character.....

nice drama

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

oh come on people stop dissecting the drama, poor thing has just begun. give it a chance !

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

sanam saeed is a model....she worked on aag tv as a VJ(like mahira and naveen) too....
she has done many plays but this is her 2nd ONSCREEN play....

she's a known personality in pakistan...

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

I have seen Sanam Saeeds first performance in some play in which she played secondary role of an elder sister whose husband is abusive. But at that time I felt that her body language, posture and confident looks doest match with her character but in this play I think her character perfectly matched with her body language....

just wondering anybody else got some glimpses of an old veteran actress Khalida Riasat in her or its only me...:-)

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

Its her fourth play. First one was Daam followed by Mera Nasseb and Mata e Jaan

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

I found glimpses of Khalida Riyasat in Amna Shaikh :)

Re: Zindagi Gulzar Hai

OOOOO really...never thought of Amina Sheikh...for me Amina Sheikh is just a plain Jane who is average in craft (acting I mean)..:D
