The Parliament is not moving to erase him from history, but to put him in proper context of history. They’re just taking his title of president away. Mushrraf will lose that title too. The title of president gives these dictators legitimacy that they do not deserve in democratic context. I don’t know why anyone would have problem with that if you believe in the rule of law.
