it was certainly very disturbing to see those photos and videos of him ... and honestly speaking what was even more disturbing was how they were celebrating his death and congratulating others ... i mean .. Fine, he was a bad guy, must hav done many crimes ... but the way they were disrespecting his body was just insane and inhumane!! ... is this what our religion teaches us??? anyhow, seeing some insensitive comments on this thread is very dissappointing! no one deserves to die like that!! or dead body being paraded like his killers did! .... if Gadaffi was criminal .. then im sorry to say wht his killers did was no less!!

No he did not. He took over PPP through the will, but he was elected president.
There is no reason to demonize the guy just b/c you don't like him. He came to power through democratic means & whether we like the guy or not we must respect the system & that was not true for Gadaffi.

you definitly cant compare him to Gaddafi, he hasnt done anything for his country as Gaddafi have done even being a dictator! so keeping him alive serves serve purpose of vested powers and damage Pakistan more and easy to make him oblige to do anything.

had he not taken the party chairman ship through the will, i would call him elected president... but yes technically he is elected but then we have mushy who was elected by the parliament as well...

is it necessary to disrespect a present head of state
why pakistanis disrespect to the extreme their leaders , two very able prime ministers killed ,but people don't speak much about military dictators . leaders are always like that in the world , charges of corruptions , beimani, bhaai bhatijawad . but they are simply charged tried and sent to jail , no body wants to kill them or strip parade them .

Basic human rights are fundemental to all beings. Zardari or Ghaddfi. We have had way too many political assassinations in the country. No matter how much I hate Zardari I would not wish his death. Same goes to Benazir who was just like him. However if he does die I will not mourn his death. But he should be allocated all privileges of his rank as President.

those killed our leaders were caught ,tried by court of law , these leaders are still loved by indians ,these leaders were not killed because they were corrupt . no body can dare to say in public that he wants to kill ,parade strip naked ,or insult any national leader . what i wanted to say that pakistani politicians should be given respect over dictators , none of the dictators was wished to be tried in this thread in such manner as gaddafi was treated.
regarding corruption of politicians many politicians are in the jail for various charges of corruption in india ,

agreed. The judge who gave death sentence to the murderer of Salman taseer had to flee the country because so many of his learned friends wanted to kill him. Do you think they would not do the same to Zardari. Think again. Thousands of innocents have been killed in our country by barbaric animals in the name of religion, without any remorse by those thakedars of Islam.

I hate Zardari as much as if not more than Gadaffi.
However Islamically and due to the moral and stringent codes placed upon my soul. I for one could not vent my anger or let others behave in such a barbaric manner. The way I would have it done is to have a dictator put on show the public and have his crimes read out aloud. Then he would have an opurtunity to have his say before he was executed by the time honoured tradition, either decapitation or another death by single blow.
No need for the drama or mob rule, no need to dismember the body etc and certainly no need for any parading.
My eternal and spiritual chief of all Muslim warriors and saints was known to have said "Do not even dismember the body of a dog". We shall do as instructed.
