Zardari to leave Turkey for Greece today
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will leave Turkey for Greece today (Sunday) to attend a conference being held there. The PPP co-chairman is in Turkey on a three-day visit, where he held separate meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday. He also held meetings with members of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Abdul Majeed Niazi, the press counselor of Pakistani Embassy in Turkey, told Pakistan Television on Saturday that Zardari had said Pakistan should benefit from progress made in the agriculture sector by Turkey. Niazi said that in this regard a delegation of farmers would be soon sent to Turkey.
