If you had a mate who you have a lot of banter with, and one day he shows you a picture of his son and your like “he’s ugly just like his dad” would you expect him to take it as a joke? Or would you never say it cause it crosses a personal line?

Dude, rule of thumb.---->> Never, ever make fun OR say bad about anyone’s son/daughter in front of them. If you have, even as a joke, you must go back and apologize.
