I have a feeling desi men don’t really expect their wives to have opinions or hold debates. Don’t throw tamatars at me, I’m speaking from what I’ve observed in most desi households. The men are usually the ones discussing politics and life and whatnot, the ladies don’t really engage in these debates. The men are the decision makers most of the times even when the ladies have a strong opinion on something.

If I am to go through this rishta interviewing process, this is one of the things I would want to clarify with him. Dude, I haz opinions, don’t like em? Piss off!

yeah well, my man better be able to deal with the opnions pfffffffffffffftttttttt.

honestly though, you’d think that men would like a spouse who they can engage in discussions with, who can talk about a variety of things yknow?
