dad's side...karachi. Before that (post-partition), the grandparents lived in kutch (its in gujrat - the setting of Lagaan for those who are unfamiliar) and bombay. However, my father's generation was born in karachi, so as far as I'm concerned, I'm a karachi-wali.
i think my dads from toba tek sindh and my mums from pajaa :D

sure, the name of our ancestral village is DARKALI and now most of the family has shifted to DHOK KALYAAL :)

Father's side originally from Sodhran village in Wazirabad, Punjab, but my father grew up in Jhang. Mother's side Pre partition from Patiala in East Punjab (Now is it in Haryana?), but she grew up in Lahore. Since both of them were in the army, so we grew up all over Pakistan...so I can really say that I am from all over Pakistan :)
PS I really love the Punjabi/Urdu mixture that is the Patiala/Ambala language. I think it is still spoken in some parts of Lahore. does anyone know?

ive been to khabaki , kunnati and ermm well i guess a lot of em, but not the mine n all .. :)
My parents and their families are from Chakwal (near Rawalpindi and Islamabad) in Punjab, Pakistan 
Mirpurkhas (sind) later on moved to karachi when i was 3 or 4i..both my parents families migrated from Hayderabad Deccan...
grandparents were from Hyderabad, India, but parents were born in karachi and that makes me karachite :)
