Everything that i have, i do use. Except for the covergirl eyeshadows that were on a really really good sale and i bought a few but they have absolutely no staying power whatsoever. I am not sure whats stopping me from chucking them out
My fetish however is MAC shadows. I think i own only 11 of them but i love using them and will be adding on to the collection as time goes by. I dont like spending a couple of hundred dollars at one go on makeup when i dont need to. This way i have fun several times a year instead of just once, by choosing and playing with teh colors
Yeah, I dropped 1500 on makeup because I'm a makeup artist lol. I couldn't spend that much on myself, there's nooo way I could justify it.
But really... that's nothing compared to how much it really costs. 1500 is just some basic stuff, replacement stuff. It's really not unusual for me.
I have friends who have spent 15,000-30,000 on their kits. I'm working my way up there hah!
It really helps that I have all those pro discounts though. I can't imagine how much I'd be spending now if I didn't. cringe

Frankly i dont think i can ever have that much money to drop all at once. But one time last year (i was really boreD) i went througha ll my makeup to determine how much it was worth vs how much i paid for it (includin the stuff in free-gift-with-purchase thinggies).... i forgot the amt ill do it again one day :D

Yeah but you've gotta think of it from the perspective of a business expense. Without the products that you use to run your business, you've no longer got one!
I love cleaning and organizing my kit. I'm getting a bunch of organizational stuff this week too, it's going to be so much fun!
I love makeup but somehow I cant bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on it in one go… I usually wait for a good sale or something to finish before going out and buying a new one… my main loves are eyeliners and glosses… I could never have enough!
