frigging disgusting aaloo gosht and plain rice -- my susraal is not known for its culinary prowess. i'd traveled 5 hours by road straight from the reception hall after the wedding, and the sight of that food made me want to sit on the floor and wail.

Muragghhan is a term used for spicy/ bhunay hoay or meat/chicken foods. Like rich foods/ heavy meals!!
I love Masoor ki daal too, but doesn't it matter how it is cooked and whats the taste?? :( I introduced a little different recipe of Masoor Daal in my Susraal and now my recipe is followed since I am there. Because mine one, tastes better.

I think we had chicken salan and roti for dinner at the in-laws.. it was by candlelight too.. there was no bijli
my breakfast sucked though.. too far for my parents to send (i don’t really think they knew of this rasm), and i was running late for the valima makeup so i had a can of rani juice on the way to the parlour

I had breakfast with the worst chai I ever had in my life made by mil :p. Then I had leftover Shaadi food, but later that day I got food poisoning so I was on Khichri the next day and even at my valima I was eating Khichri

I know. To this day I complain to my husband that I never even tasted the food at our valima :(.

We stayed in hotel. Around 4-5 am we were hungry so ordered Biryani, chicken karahi and coffee lol. I just had biryani and coffee. :)

we ate left over food from shadi ..my sister chachi and friend brought nashta the other day halwa puri parathey etc etc so many things ..and me and my husband requested my SIL to make masor ki daal chawal the other day cos we weret tired of eating biryani kormey karhai.. and we loved it… those days

First thing I ate was the breakfast delivered to my in laws by my dear father. This was the day after the baraat, on the morning of the walima. It consisted of channe, puri, halwa, nihari, haleem and butter nan. After that we ate walima left overs for almost 3 days! Boy were we sick of eating salan lol
