and how can we forget our Raju uncle,he's a great actor :)
SHABASH...aap qadarr-daan hein sacchay!
Khush Rahein...
thanks, I hope you know M.Warsi. He could have done much bigger and greater roles because he could act through his eyes. He fits in the role, like its made for him. Effortless, yet brilliant.
I hope one day we could have a show like 'Inside the Actors Studio' on urdu channels, which you could host. This could give us a chance to get an insight, or get a bit more technical about the actors and their art.
Re: Your favourite TV Actor
The name M. Warsi sounds kinda familiar but I just can't seem to put a face with it. Any pics?
Re: Your favourite TV Actor

HA...HA...and...HAAAAAAAAAAAA !:)
Beiti...aap ne mere interviews ghaurr se nahin dekhay.
In almost all of my 45 TV interviews since 1990....I have always
said that I am NOT a TV ARTISTE...by any count! It's just my shauq
that I hip-hop and sometimes good, sometimes bad and sometimes ugly
...the acting!
Professionally I am a Banker...and ALLHAMDOULILLAH a very successfull and contented one....
ACTING, DIRECTING and WRITING is to UNWIND myself from routine or professional work....
This thread speaks of PROFESSIONAL artiste...though its a bit WIDENED because..like someopne said in one of the posts....it is INDEED difficult to bring out ONE from the time the TV came to Pakistan.
Khush rahein..

Re: Your favourite TV Actor
Rahat Kazmi is IT for me, i have seen Dhoop Kinaray at least a dozen times and every time i see his scenes its like the first time, and no its not JUST becasuse of his good looks. I'm watching this really old play of his on the net "Teesra Kinara", i believe its a 70's play and he is BRILLAINT, its sad that he has not worked all that much.
HA...HA...and...HAAAAAAAAAAAA !:)

Re: Your favourite TV Actor
I used to like Humayun Saeed but now i don't because in meri adhoori mohabbat no matter how many people appreciated him looked blank! His character was not much talking and moe expressions while he was quiet but at the same time came up with a blank face...his character was more like Jai waliya from kasamh say, while if you see that guy you can see how his character reacts, feels etc even without saying anything his facial expressions say it all. We don't have any worthy actor to be liked for his acting these days - they are just people acting because of the lack of actors that we have and these people also have camera friendly looks (in other words people say they are good looking) i guess and thats why people like them. A really good story with everything right makes these people look nice but if these people act in totally opposite dramas i am sure they wouldn't be appreciated.
Humayun has exhausted himself..he wants to do everything, be everything..act in every play. U pick-up any old drama and any current drama, his acting skills have remained constant! He knows how to cry and go blank..
I like Aijaz Aslam though!
