Kyaa baath hai - You are so right on this one - I adore this song - brings tears thinking about the scene in the movie - Bandini - tender, beautiful.

Rajesh Khanna recently said - humaree bhi paramparaa hai, sanskriti hai, culture hai - current movies kaafee westernized ho gaye hain - maybe audience yahee chahthee hai - so directors giving the audience what they want.

Forgot to add - SD Burman - what music, what voice, and what feeling he added to the song. You were so spot on.

i agree...Rajesh Khanna said it all! we may copy the west as much as we may like to but the fact remains the we look better with our own looks. desi-panaa hii hameN goroN se distinguish kartaa hai...:)

Double giglicious - the great OP Nayyar - eldest bhratasree was the one who told me OP Nayyar and Asha Bhosle combinations was awesome - throw in Shamshad Begum, and we are set!
