Funny stuff. This reminds me of a real life joke.
In Calcutta (where I was born), our doodhwala would bring doodh every day. One day my father joked with him (in his broken Tamilian Hindi):

Doodh mein paani milayega tho, humara ghar say paani lena tho.

doodhwala: naheen sahab, hum acha paani hee milathay hai.

when I heard this song the first time, there was something magical about the singer - found out later he was Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (who I had not heard of). His combination with Mahalaxmi Iyer - a very unlikely combination - is magical - the song setting is exotic - what is not to like.
