Afro, when you ask for thin crust, the crust is rolled out with a rolling pin. Hand tossed is almost as thin, but they do it while tossing it in air. It just bakes the crust in a different way. Have you ever tried that?
hmm i think i have had hand tossed as well....usually even the local pizzeria, they never roll it with a rolling pin...they spin it on their fists...etc......
dont care as long as crust is thin & crispy...esp if it is made in a wood grill....almost like a tandoor thing...im having a brain fart n forgot what that is called.....
