I generally don't like western romance movies, they are way too over-sexualized and lose the romance IMO.
I think it was very diff and unlike other romantic movies. But i do agree what u had to generally say about the western romantic movies. Same reason i didnt like Notebook that much.
Just finished watching A Walk to Remember again and i just love it, wish guys like Landon werent that far n few :(. Just the thought of being able to change somebodys life to this extent really touches the heart and inspires you.
Actually to be honest, i guess alot of sex scenes in the movie put it in a bad taste for me. Lol. I believe romance is fine but when it gets too explicit on screen it really changes the dimension of the movie.

Um.. I may not disagree with that. Many people have the similar opinion and Its understandable. But in this particular movie I really luv the way it started, the way he lost her and then won back and the finish was on the top. So its important to get more involved in the story by itself and rather than distracted by other stuff.. u know wut i mean.

Ya but if you are gonna have to fast forward 1/4 of the film or more then that may cause it to loose some significance and connect hence perhaps why i didnt feel that connect with the movie. But i wud say that the story was very nice and emotional. Maybe someday i shud watch it again with an open mind :).
Casablanca.
Far From the Madding Crowd.
Also Emma Thompson in Sense and Sensibility.
And the 1956 movie A Night to Remember is such a superior movie to Titanic. Riveting, actually!
I have a very long list of fav..some are already mentioned here.
I thought "50 First Dates" was so cute and hilarious.....itni khuwaari kon karta hai aaj kal?

If you ever decide to watch this movie...don't! Rather watch Il Mare, it's far more superior than lake house.
Oh ok, why? Any special reason sir?.
The Wedding Planner was a good movie too.
Yup it was :).
