this is a good home made candi - try it

washed and half split long black khajoor

halved almonds

luke warm sugar syrup or sheera
and
shredded coconut

place the almonds in the split khajoors.

dip in the sheera

coat with coconut by rolling in it
carerfully place on a flat dish
cover with saran wrap or plastic wrap gently

and refrigerate for 2 hours

eat!

another one is sasame seed tofee.
more like mediteranean or mid eastern.

but very tasty not like our meethee rey-oris or reywaris - how ever u pronounce 'em.

I Like all type of chocolates and sweets

i remember one saying here

whatever sweet tastes your lip will stay on your hip

Over weight and obese people be carefull, BTW i'm little overweight
