^ thats the problem with camcorder. 80% of the people don't use it after first few months. Too lazy to transfer and burn etc. That is why I am reluctant to buy one, otherwise for a year I am thinking between getting a Sony/Nikon DSLR or Camcorder with HDD or MiniDVD. Can't decide. But like Shikra said, its on my list. My 5 year old Sony 3.2MP digital camera's LCD is broken. It still rocks and amazes with the results. Far far better than any Canons and Nikon in that catagory.
So this summer I have to decide, whether to go for a compact camcorder with a reasonable 3MP built-in still camera, or go for a flashy DSLR. For both, range is $600-800.
