Daam was good but the pace was very slow and dialogues lacked any punch. Amina, Sanam and Adeeld acted well though. Saving grace.

exactly thats why i didn't mention it, although it had a good story but weak direction and slow drama....

^ true. Mehreen's direction was very mediocre. She couldn't enhance the script, shots were so basic and unimaginative and pacing was slow. These are some of the weaknesses that come to mind. Besides, I think she's past her prime. There are far better directors than her. Haissam Hussein for example. He can handle imagery very well, knows how to enhance the nature of the script and empowers performances which serve the story.

Glad to see other malaal lovers besides myself. For the longest time, I thought it was only me who thought i was a huge fan. I know I can watch it for the third time.

it was good drama, I think one of the finest play by mehreen jabbar
