Your biggest makeup disaster

in ny you look strange if you dn't have a tan in the summer. I was visiting family and my cousin who thinks she's the best at makeup (when really she looks kinda trashy) bought a new bronzer. They told me i was too light and said that's why people keep teasing me that i don't look guyanese enough (i'm half and the other half is paki) so my sister and her convinced me to sit down and let them make me over... my face was like an orange oompa loompa with a reddish undertone it was so fugly. they kept gushing that it was good and didn't let me wash my face. when my aunt came to pick us up she assumed i liked how i looked and took us to the mall and said she liked the makeup job her daughter did. as soon as it was time for dinner i hopped into a bathroom and scrubbed it off my face... i still cringe at the thought of how strange i looked. we have pictures and look back at it and laugh and they always ask me why i let them do that to me but i was like well i wanted to hang with you older girls and even though i knew i didn't like it i didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

i was 13 at the time but very petite and looked like i was 10, where as those girls matured early and were both 15 so i looked like a baby hanging around them. lol the things we do to belong.

years later at her wedding she tried to offer me makeup tips because i was a bridesmaid and i was like NOOOOOOO thanks you remember the summer you made me burnt orange? and we laugh and she gets off my back.
