There was that series against Australia where he defied them on his own. I haven't seen anything like that before or ever again. Not from Ponting, Tendulkar, Inzamam, no one.
He scored a double century to win them a game. But the best was that 150 odd not out. Wickets were falling and it looked like Australia would demolish them but he stood there and produced a fantastic victory.
What a series that was. And what a player he has been. The most exciting batsmen I have ever seen.
