I don’t understand why Younus should ask the management to drop him? Since when did this become the norm in Pakistan cricket? isn’t it the coach and captain’s job to pick the best playing eleven from the squad? The captain and coach cannot be so spineless and afraid to rest a senior player. This culture must end. If Misbah and Waqar want to rest Younus Khan then that would be the wise and correct decision. If Younus Khan whines about it, disciplinary action should be taken and Younus can go back to Pakistan on the same flight with Moin Khan

Just a matter of respect on the basis of seniority (just like how he’s become permanent in final XI now)
