Today I learned the dividend gross up for non-eligible dividends was reduced to 18% from 25% previously. DTC is also slightly lower now. :k:

What is dividend gross up?
What is non eligible dividends?
What is DTC?

today i learned that there is a lot of research going on, all around the world on the importance of Sleep.

how maximizing it, by even 1 or 2 hours can increase productivity through out the day.

also, some people have started to put an alarm on to go to sleep, instead of an alarm to wake up. This increased their sleep hours !

So, I learned soe thing new today in class and I just thought it was interesting enough to share.

its called the spotlight effect, basically it’s where you think people are paying more attention to you than they actually are.

There was this study conducted where a bunch of college students met up, and mid way through one student changed his shirt. Only ten percent of the students remembered that he had changed his shirt.

So, in short if you think you look like a mess, nobody really cares cause they’re too busy worrying about themselves haha

I learned that one of my colleagues likes pulling the hair on my arm.

On a side note with your story. Today I spent around 80% of my time at work on my phone and everytime I would look up I would see a colleague talking to me and halfway through some story that I don’t even remember them starting. I cannot fathom how being on my phone and me not making eye contact with you means i’m obviously not interested in what you’re saying yet you are obviously very oblivious to that fact that I couldn’t care less but still decide to continue.

How does one start a conversation with someone when there head is down looking at their phone? Does one just walk up to random person and start talking? Is this a domino effect cause all of them were like penguins and doing the same thing? Did they really wanna just talk to me? Did they miss my voice? Did they need me? Was this a cry for help? Do I normally care? Do they think I care? Did they need a hug? Were they trying to impress me?
