a lot of yoga poses have religious meanings for hindus e.g. the surya namashkaar where ur basically praying to the sun… and that is why some scholars don’t approve of practising yoga… but hey I just do it coz im fat! Its not haram, in my opinion, but if people are wary of practising yoga for religious reasons, they can always go for pilates… pretty much the same benefits.

And what about , innamal amalo bin nayaat wali hadees. Will it not apply here. If a person is doing yoga for the purpose of exercising not to pray any idols. I did not even know and I am sure many others will not know about hindu way of worship.
