Yes our societies are different…i dont know wht those words mean…but if its a place where people can do catharsis of their feelings…then that helps in treating depression…its similar to having a session with the psychylogist… except tht you know everything you say to a psychologist will stay within those four walls…n thts not the case abt speaking in gatherings.
Moreover there are patterns which a psychologist notices and a common man might not notice…

so how successful psychologists have been in eradicating depression from western society as the built-in systems in our societies? West got these terminologies very recently when their societies changed and they have become machines. Same things are being followed in our societies and that will result in same situation, where psychologists will be filling their pockets with heavy fees without actually delivering anything.
