Finally. Its a relief for the Pakistani fans. At least Yawar Saeed had some shame left in him. Does Ijaz Butt have even that much left in him or is he waiting for Zardari to replace him? Which might never happen. He is 75 years old. WOW. Can't we have any younger people running the most important game in our country. Ijaz Butt 73, Yawar Saeed 75.
Paves the way for Younus Khan to be made test captain?? Only time will tell.

Oh Wait! Lets not celebrate too much. Saeed is likely to be replaced by Shafqat Rana, assistant manager on the England tour. How old is Shafqat Rana?

Another malfunctioned part of the ill machinery. We need someone out of this old camp which has played a big role in deteriorating status of cricket for Pak. This should send a SOS to real cricket minds in Pakistan to come forward and help the board in some way.

They need someone who is a former cricketer and a huge disciplinarian. No Shafqat Rana. There will be no difference between him and Yawar Saeed. All these 70+ year old people should get redy for their graves and sit in Pakistan and go to masjids :-)

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt has begun planning for giving an important position to former manager Yawar Saeed.

The managerial tenure of Yawar Saeed, 75, has been full of controversies but he remained manager of the national cricket team being the close friend of Ijaz Butt.

Sources said that the PCB chairman intends to retain Yawar Saeed with him in the Board and he has began planning in this regard.

If Pakistan players are cleared in sport fixing charges then Yawar may be assigned an important position in the Board and he may be appointed chief operating officer in place of Wasim Bari or a member of the governing board or special assistant to the chairman.
