The ending seemed a bit rushed, wasn't sure whether she and her husband got a divorce or not untill reading Neelys summary. I assumed when they slept together at the end that they were mates again. Silly me.

That was the most degrading, biased, backward, peice of tosh ive ever seen in me life...it was embarrasing to watch, portraying all young women to hate their culture,get married to a fob,then hide it, and all young asian guys to be drug dealers and then go on to be terrorists. Talk abt making ppl hate you. I was cringing all the way through.

I think alot the issues that were raised in this programme are pretty true to life. e.g
Yasmins little bro who besides being the local adhan boy is a drug dealer and sexually active with gorian.
Yasmin going from home in a hijab and switching to english clothes halfway to work, admit it guys it happens everywhere, though not all girls do it.
Yasmin being disgusted by her FOB husband.
However the programme did not handle the issues very well, though it bought us home truths which we do not like admitting happen.
It did focus on alot of the negative aspects in our society which I think is what has made many people say it was a load of crap.
I have never seen a street like that though.
