art is nor just personal or cultural...its a form of expression and it can be both at the same time. you can even politicize them.
we are the ones who are questioned about their art that when they can paint nude, why dont u?
well its a long discussion behind their sick and deprived practices.
yes it can be anything no doubt but in the end its ur PERSONAL feelings and expressions. doesn tmatter if u end up painting a nude or burqe wali khatoon.

Guys, u never painted a nude or anything so its good not to discuss something which is indefinite to u.
the point thread starter is trying to make is on one side a person stands for Islamic ideology and bla bla in Kashmir and on the other hand he is engaged to mentally sick and deprived artist!
so you can easily judge how much this leader on the right path.
ok... i am not fan of nude paintings but painting nudes doesn't makes one mentally sick or deprived artist...lol

ironically Pakistani artists find nude paintings only and easiest way to gain west's acknowledgment.
God knows when our artists will come out of this complex.

Zobia that is a very wrong and judgmental stance. She is a painter and mostly do portraits in various forms. She has done portarits of older women , villagers etc. She does not exclusively do nudes although if some one does there is nothing sick about it. Humanbody form is an amzing subject matter and its just the matter of inspiration. you mostly do still life (I think) in different mediums and it is your inspiration. I don't know what rumors are on the internet but I find it very disturbing that an artist like yourself will be critisizing the other artist for her art. I don't know why you think her painting few nude portratis is an attempet for west 's acknowledgement.
