Re: WWE..
Infact, I also met Torrie Wilson today at my city!!!! I dont know if any of you know her or not, but she was a total sweetheart! I even took pics with her!
I met Batista the other day in gym (Ashburn, VA). This guy is huge(almost scary) but an extremly humble guy. He was working out but chatted with me for few minutes. very very nice guy!
Re: WWE..
Awesome! Very glad to read.
Apart from RAW's main event which has been shaping up to be a making of a true Wrestlemania match, what exactly will be earth-shattering about the event? For me, it doesn't have a Wrestlemania "feel" to it.
Re: WWE..
Unfortunatly thats true till now. Anyway I hope that they will come up with something special, its time for it already. The SD! Mainevent isnt bad either in my eyes, though I dont think that this will be a good fight.
Money in the Bank will be awesome again, liked the last two times that match.
I hope that Cena will lose against Michaels, its about time that he will get back the title.

Money in the bank will indeed be another special match reserved strictly for this event. You are absolute right.
Smackdown main event is all but watchable, for all parties involved. People are simply not interested, and neither am I. Batista cannot wrestle if his life is dependent on it. Regardless of his down-to-earth personality, Undertaker is going to carry this match down the drain. I have no hope left for Smackdown anymore.
Do you think it is feasible to have Cena and Batista both lose to perhaps the biggest faces in the company? If such is the case, I can see Triple H coming back, turning heel right away and thrusting himself into the main event. Cena/Michaels/Triple H/Undertaker will make for a mighty decent Survivor Series match, or for next Wrestlemania for that matter.
Re: WWE..
I only watch the PPVs cuz I get them to watch them for free on my free-to-air satellite... used to watch the Tv shows from '04 to '05 but then had to move, also began to lose interest in it ever since the HHH-Eugene storyline from August '04 folded (since I was 11 back then, loved Eugene)..
Anyway I hate that Cena-wins-no-matter-what attitude WWE is currently carrying... my satellite got a hit when No Way Out was about to air and dammit I missed the entire PPV (had to go to bed, school next day).. anyway I heard Cena's team (w/ Shawn Michaels) won.. f*** it.. can't wait til 'Mania though ('Taker in the main event uh-oh), and whatever comes before :)
Hey gravity killz plz tell us about ur experience with the Animal!

Well...it was like one of the regular days... i went to the Gold gym after work. I was warming up in the weight room, when i saw this guy doing some crazy weight on his neck ... he had 3 plates(45lbs each ) on each side of the machine. I could only see his back, as he was sitting down. He was wearing t-shirt with Batista written on the back. After completing his exercise, he got up and turned around. I immediatly recognized him and for some strange reason went straight up to him. I told him that i was a big fan of his. He he smiled and thanked me. He asked my name and told me that he had another friend with the same name. I asked him if after working out i can take some pictures with him and he said sure. Infact he said that he had some posters in his truck and he can give some to me. The over all experiece was great. He is really huge and his body is simply unbelievable...if this guy is ur friend, probably no body in the world will mess with u :D
Re: WWE..
^^ I’m soooooo jealous!!
Anyway my parents prob’ly won’t lemme out to places such as pro gyms and pro wrestling shows
Re: WWE..
^ well.... If you can ask your parent's permission to go to one of these shows with some elder cousin or something , that will be cool. Its a lot of fun. I went with my roomate to watch Smackdown when Chris Benoit was the champion and we had a blast even though our seats were not exactly amazing. Its a good experience.
Re: WWE..
Great times, weren't they? The impact of Benoit was felt all the way from Rumble in January to Summerslam in August. A championship reign to remember.

I love Benoit.. He is a great wrestler... The last of the genuines!

I am delighted you mentioned that. Not many people are fond of pure textbook style wrestling. 'Last of the genuines' is aptly put.
Re: WWE..
Benoit is a fantastic wrestler, very underated.

^MVP will kick his ass at Backlash.

Didn't he already, at Wrestlemania? Backlash has always conducted rematches from its predecessor. Cena would also have faced Michaels had it not been for a fatal four-way.
Re: WWE..
You see Cena vs HBK on Raw?
Best match on Raw for some time now.

It was good. It was awesome. Oh my Lord, it was so good! 56 minutes in total. Unvelievable. Even though I had read the spoiler report earlier in the evening, it didn't specify the winner of the match, and by the time Shawn had delivered sweet chin music and landed on top of his opponent faster than Cena had the ability to crash and burn, it was the decisive moment. Months had gone by, months, and we were stuck with the likes of Umaga (best wrestler as termed by 'Firefighters' - RAW fans) and Lashley as our main events, and with McMahons in the picture, it was hopeless to expect proper wrestling matches from them. And with DX at the helm, the wrestling part was altogether taken out of the equation. McMahons have been criticized heavily in the past about the number of times the family had eaten up and stole valuable television time while other hard-working workers are pushed back on the backburner due to the nonsense that they have to put up with a number of their bosses (Triple H, Undertaker, to name a few). This was a long, long time coming. Very satisfying, absolutely content after watching the match. The spoiler report had earlier noted that it didn't go well with the live crowd and a match dragged that long, it was a given. But it came off so well. A wrestling clinic, rated 5 stars.
On a lighter note, Rey Mysterio is said to be coming back in the next few weeks and the current plans for him is to be pitted in the main event of Summerslam against this Vince McMahon. Terrible booking, this.
Re: WWE..
I've kinda lost interest in WWE.. if I like watch a match once in a month, and it has some good wrestling - good hi-flying moves, vicious impact moves etc. (LADDERS!) - then yea I will definitely enjoy it, but not a fan ever since the Eugene-HHH storyline folded... plus nowadays I've noticed that the 'female content' has risen pretty much than it was in '04 or '05. And my satellite doesn't offer weekly shows any more anyway. I liked the Ladder match at Mania though; crazy off-the-ladder Book End, RKO and some moves by the Hardy Boyz and Mr. Kennedy as well. Kickass stuff.

Eugene and Triple H angle, what a desperate attempt to raise the TV ratings while keeping the son-in-law in the main event for all those weeks. The night where Eugene rolled Triple H for a three-count, the place went berserk, but look where he is now. Ever since that angle unfolded, you are right, there is no more Eugene (or Triple H) hogging the main-event spots. If it hadn't been for a quad, the original Wrestlemania plan was him to square off against John Cena in a 1-on-1 match. Triple H is a mighty good worker and has accomplished a whole lot in his professional career but since his return, he has been featured in main events more than any other. There is a whole locker-room behind those curtains who never got a proper chance to show their talents in the ring, all because the boss had to grab all fifteen minutes of fame every possible week.
The female contests? Not touching this one. It is not worth it. Some of those panties have been auctioned off for more than $700, excluding a pillow from a pillow fight on RAW which had it's prices sky-high.
But yes, MITB was a good match to start the show with. Lots of high-flying moves. A swanton from the top of the ladder onto Edge, great stuff.
How did you like the rest of the show? Like any matches or special appearances you would like to further talk about?
Re: WWE..
Damn, I missed the last match (Cena vs. HBK for WWE title) because dad's friend came over for some important work. The rest of the card was pretty good I think. The Money-in-the-Bank match was probably the best, and Undertaker vs. Batista for World title was also very enjoyable. No comments on that match's outcome, but the moves during the match were thrilling - Undertaker got quite airborne and was a stark contrast to his usually sedate in-ring performances... Batista also did well as a punching bag and put in some good moves as well. The Battle of the Billionaires was basically just some cheap in-ring tactics, I know Lashley did good and Umaga was doing his part but that whole Austin thing blew it in my opinion; the best part was to see McMahon getting bald - Bischoff got some sweet revenge. I guess those are the highlights for me - had I seen the main event I would've posted it here as well.
