Wow, what excitement from the "Mini World Cup"

Umair I agree people do get real mad when the team lose but I must say this was one of those matches about which you cannot stop feeling that you should have won. I have always thought that our batsmen (exept one or two) don't do well when ever is required of them, I from the very beginning think Arshad don't deserve a place in the side, I also ever since he took over think that Moin is not a good captain. I feel we need real fast bowler always it has nothing to do with the fact that we lost a match.

Although, I can uderstand Munna's frustration and Umair316's reply. I have to admit that I am frustrated by the lack of big match toughness shown by the Pakistani players.

When it really matters (except 1992) Pakistan cricket team has been found wanting.

I expect a team like Pakistan who has many individuals in their team that have played more ODI than all the the players put together in NZ team to show their experience and come through games like this.

The fact that Saeed was hitting the ball all over the park, all the Pakistani Middle order had to do was to play sensibly and let him have the strike as much as possible until the last ten overs.......aaaagh....I can go on and on but what's the use....I give up :-(

I do not think the loss is as bad… we did play neck to neck .. but we had a lot better team .. but NZ has always been good as a team but they never had elite stars .. and with out Crains we should have won the game.. In general its good for the game that NZ won .. see others have to win too beside the usual ones .. that is good for the sports.. as far as for Pakistan .. there was a lot of HOT AIR ego on display .. Moin ‘Saniasi Bwa’ predicted the final even before the tournament started and he had to eat his words… his nostrdamicl prediction did not came true .. he kept repeating his prediction.. almost everyday.. enough to motivate NZ and India to prove themselves .. and they did .. right in your face Moin! … it boiled downs to the attitudes … when Pakistan lost to Bangladesh .. Akarm smilingly declared it was a loss against brothers! And same attitude was on display when we lost final embarrassingly and each of them (almost all of them) had a big grin on their faces.. in contrast when NZ lost semifinal in 1992 they were in tears and some of their players were lying on the ground in disbelief .. a sense of loss of pride ..
