i think if u had time you could do artificial arrangements, which would last forever and could get ppl to take after the wedding, if the centrepiece is set so high up, ppl couldn't tell if they were real or fake! lol
i dont think it would be weird if you decorated half of the hall, im sure it would be done in a way which would create balance to the venue, and to tell the photographer to focus on the decor
times will deffo change i mean look at the weddings 10 years ago and how they are now!
