Natalia if by "girlfriend" you also mean "someone you were/are in love with but don't necessarily date as gf/bf", then yes. In fact, I liked my friend's sister, who lived in a different state, and told her and her family that I like her and would like to marry her, in 2003. Then we started talking, got to know each other more and decided to get married. Got engaged in 2005 and got married in 2006.
That the spirit Shik, atleast some among us have the crown jewels to stand up for ourselves.
