As for the idea of marrying a convert-it would depend on if he had converted previously with the intention of being a Muslim regardless of my yes/no to the idea of marriage.

Despite all those qualities he wouldn't be my Mr. Right if he wasn't a Muslim so it's a no from me. But, if he converted for the right reasons...why not?

gettin married isnt the problem..wat are u going to do afterwards if he doesnt convert..how are u going to compromise on any issues..he will have no concept of halal and haram..are u willing to cook pork for him? keep alcohol in the house..? share the same dishes? would u want ur kids to have muslim upbringing would he be ok with ur children being raised as muslims? i considered doing this myself..evn though i really liked the guy..he used to be muslim but is now a very strong atheist..he asked me to make him a sandwich one day and i felt so guilty using haram chicken! i dont think i could live the rest of my life in that way..its all about compatibility..and u cannot be compatible with someone on every level if religion is different as that is a very major part of life!

lol and btw..he was a multi millionaires son..young..highly educated..extremely good looking and a very very nice respectful, polite human being..very pleasant to be with...but like they say..in order to get something..u have to leave a lot behind too..

but if he is a convert he better hv converted before i met him .... cuz otherwise I wud just hv serious doubts that he only converted to marry me and may convert back after marriage
