Would you get offended if...

Re: Would you get offended if...

I had a long struggle with infertility and went on to have a beautiful baby boy who alas had much difficulty latching on and breastfeeding was a failure.

You wouldnt beleive some of the comments and questions I got from the very beginning with the infertility. At one point, I told my hubs that I was going to enlarge the results of his semen analysis to poster size and post it on a billboard in our front yard.

When "aunties" would ask me embarrassing questions, I'd answer with full candor and zero editing. Yes, sex is moaning, groaning GR8. But if you have suggestions as far as best positions for attaining conception, please feel free to share.

Its MY hormones that are off so I inect myself with hormones daily and please excuse me as I must go ready the hypodermics...would you care to see?

And once my first was born, no I could not breastfeed. Would you like to see him attempt? I can send the men away, take off my shirt and show you what the problem is.

When you get as "down and dirty" as they are, they back off - fast!!

^ you are a courageous woman!

i think fear of my mother's response would prevent me from answering thusly in her company. then again when people do comment on even the slightest weight gain, which i'm fully dreading on my upcoming visit to pakistan, i reply candidly with things like "my husband loves my curves, what can i do? nudge nudge wink wink".
that usually shuts them up quick fast.
