no point in dating white guys, they know nothing of youre culture and probably never be accepted by ure family
also it leads to heartbreak and depression, why get into that mess? i know from second hand information, the guy was ready to convert and whatnot he really wanted to marry her, but the girl knew he would never be accepted by her parents

Why can't you respect that particular conversation has ended and it wasn't for the particular person before jumping up on their behalf.
Xara has a point. I too would rather not, but honestly it's not due to personal choice/preference. I don't quite have much faith in love and relationships which we jump into based solely on something as mercurial as our emotions or a reaction to pheromones - I do have stronger faith on those based on something more solid (i.e. family) and in my family's case, they happen to prefer someone desi. It's not like it makes a difference in the end, white or desi most men suck (I said most). It's kinda like having to decide between mushrooms and olives (both of which make me sick) - but I guess that's how it works. Some women prefer the mushrooms, some olives, and some can't stand either (of course there are those that like both and get the best of both nutrients as a result). That aside, there really are quite a few caucasians and other non-desis (male and female) who may be better Muslims (Yahiya Emerick, for instance) and/or may have a stronger hold on their principles and the colored eye thing is of course another plus point (you're almost guaranteed cute kids) - so I respect those who choose to be with any non-desi (white or otherwise) as long as he's Muslim (cause some things you just can't compromise with) and nobody's getting hurt.

You don't need to go to Bosnia to find a white muslim. I was just merely stating that if she would like to date a white person, he might as well be muslim too or in the process of being one.
i dont know, i mean its the problem with cultures clashing again isnt it?
i had a rishta from Saudi and i refused on the basis that we had a completely different cultural upbringing - and also the guy was over confident :p
