I know my fiance is a sensible guy and wouldn't want me cutting ties with people for no reason. I'm the same way, but he did have to kick one friend to the curb, rightfully so, who had crossed his line. It's justified then and I would do the same if I had a friend who crossed their line or disrespected him.

There's a common friend from college he's really averse to. It's the only time he's ever tried to impose his opinion and restrictions on whom I should hang out with. Of course I wouldn't listen so we struck a deal that even if I'm in touch with her I'm not to ever bring her up with him. :D

No, I wouldn't, unless of course there was a GOOD reason. If my partner threatens me to end my relationships with my family and/or close friends, he'll be the first one out.
