Would $100,000 change your life?

Totally agree! Mine would go straight to the bank and I would forget about it or I would shop around and find a way to maxmize that money so it can really benefit me.

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

I was just wondering when would people pick me up for these random surveys. I could do with $100,000k at this moment.

Probably I would set up a casino in Kabul :smokin2:

It wouldn't change my life. But if someone was to give it to me I would most probably invest it. :)

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

^ Also wouldn't tell anyone about it b/c that would just cause jealousy.

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

^When you show up in a new Range Rover one day, you won’t need to tell anyone anything anymore :chai:

PS: If invested wisely, yes it can significantly change someone’s life and the hereafter.

this reminds me of a story ..

I used to work in a company in Dubai and we had this desi fellow , bachelor , drinking, smoking , and doing everything but work ... so he was about to be dismissed anyday ...

he caught us by surprise when he turned up one morning and announced he won a lottery of 8 Million Dollars ... and everybody was like .. whattttt?

so he went around , telling everyone stories of how he was going to buy majority shares of this company we were all working in ... and he would be our new boss etc etc... we were scared ****e !

he resigned ...

a year later we found out it was a cracking lie !!

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

I don't think it would impact my life massively or change me as a person at all. I guess I'd invest most of it in relatively risk-free assets and use 5 of those 100 K for a nice holiday with my family. :)

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

It will surely help to get my life on track lol

A bit off topic but I am dying to know Is lottery haram? :hmmm:

Don’t make assumptions :naraz:

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

Almost all of you have mentioned that you would invest in a safe investment. That is the problem with us desis. We save so that our children can spend. They save so that their children can spend. Finally all is lost when one black sheep is born in the family who decides to blow everything up...

Re: Would $100,000 change your life?

That's sad that nowadays even 100,000 does not have enough value to change someone's life completely.

that is so true!
