More seriously though, I find it more disturbing/disgusting. What possesses a person to go this far? I feel like it’s MORE than just the idea of expanding one’s family/having more and more and more and more and more children to carry out a purpose. What is it? An addiction for women? Sex? To show off?

I can imagine that having so many sister-wives can make it easier in some ways…as in the case of chores, etc. But I wonder about the more harmful effects…those that deal with one’s self-esteem and emotional development. Can he keep the names of all his kids straight? Does he spend adequate time with them?

Well if he were a Muslim...he can maintain his current record (somewhat) by divorcing the women and marrying a new batch of em. While he may not be able to have that many wives married to him.....he can just keep a record of how many he's married over the years.
