In my opinion, Parthiv Patel is a better batsman than Robin Uthappa.
Picking him would have meant 3 full-time wicket-keepers for the WC team.

australia preferring pace over accuracy they left out lewis for tait whos touching 160 kms/h these days bowling faster than lee, but going for plenty of runs.Srilanka's selection aint right they should have included kapugedera whos a big hitter rather than arnold whos consistent, but cant hit big shots because thats where srilanka usually suffers not many big hitters coming down the order.

Repeating 03 performance will be tough ask. This was best performance by any batsman inworldcup to date. But I do expect him to perform good may be as good as 1999 or 1996 worldcup. :D

If I am not wrong about the pitches in WI, IMO this world cup 07, for pace-medium pace bowlers will be about how smartly they can bowl instead of how fast you can bowl.
